Tommy Becker Larsen works primarily with native Swedish hardwoods, I create sculptures shaped by the character, history and natural movement of the wood.

Cracks, knots, scars and traces of time become part of each work, carrying something of the three's history into the finished sculpture. I am drawn to the quiet tension in the material that challenges and tells me to listen to find the shape.

Each sculpture is unique - a meeting between wood, time and human presence.
