Floating I

Floating I is the first piece in an ongoing series exploring balance, movement and the illusion of weightlessness.

Working with wood often means accepting what the material wants to become. Rather than forcing a predetermined shape, I follow the character of the grain, allowing each sculpture to find its own balance.

The Floating series explores forms suspended between movement and stillness, tension and calm, inviting the viewer to pause and experience a quiet sense of lightness.
